Those who lost a family member can find assistance at the Hospice of Santa Barbara, explains Kenny Slaught. Often, kids have a hard time experiencing loss, and the organization created programs to assist them. One of these is ‘I Have a Friend’, that pairs the kid with an older volunteer who went through the same experience.
