Those who have good ideas on how to fight off  global health and development issues are offered  Grand Challenges Explorations (GCE) grants. The $100 million project was created by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in 2008. About 1,186 projects in 1 countries received grants, and $100,000 grants are given twice a year. The application is easy and only has 2 pages. Every organization can apply for a grant, and follow up grants worth up to $1 million are also available, Kenny Slaught explains.
