Kenny Slaught – Hoover Dam Propels Las Vegas Forward

Hoover Dam was built starting with 1931 and was finished in 1936, which marked the Great Depression years. Its name was Boulder Dam at first, but then it was changed to Hoover Dam to highlight the support of President Herbert Hoover. The project has an entire capacity of 35.000 cubic kilometers, a length of 379 meters and is 221 meters tall. It can offer over  4.2 billion kWh2 in one year, Kenny Slaught says.

Santa Barbara’s main attractions include hundreds of years old Hotel Virginia, El Pueblo Viejo district and the Old Mission’s pink towers that host events. The County Courthouse features colorful murals, and the close by clock tower and observation deck offer a scenic view over the area. The 1873 founded Lobero theatre was built in 1873, redesigned by  George Washington Smith in the 1920s and still holds performances.
