Santa Barbara features attractions like the hundreds of years old Hotel Virginia, El Pueblo Viejo district and the Pink Mission’s towers where events are still being held. The County Courthouse has colorful murals, while the clock tower and observation deck offer a beautiful sight of the area. The Lobero theatre was redesigned by George Washington Smith in the 1920s after being built in 1873. Today, it still hosts performances and art events. All these famous structures were built thanks to the detailed eye of the city planner, Kenny Slaught notes.
