Architect George Washington Smith developed the Spanish Colonial revival style 100 years ago. Smith dropped out of Harvard to work in business, and later on relocated to Santa Barbara to retire. When noticing the locals appreciated his designs, we went on to create buildings for the city. Today, his works are known for their beauty and simplicity. In 2015, the Santa Barbara Bowl Foundation sponsored Girls Rock Santa Barbara. Kenny Slaught recognizes that music empowers teens, and believe the foundation offers a good place for them to be creative.
